The Witcher 3 was released on March 18th 2015, and this month is the 10th anniversary of one of the most beloved games ever released.

Based on the novel written by Andrzej Sapkowski, CD Projekt Red has released three AAA games: The Witcher in 2007, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings in 2011 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Millions of players have praised the game for its stunning graphics, beautiful soundtracks and an intriguing and adventurous story. It’s been released on multiple systems with not only graphics updates but gameplay and UI fixes based on player feedback.

It's been 10 years of fighting, meditation, monster hunting and searching for Ciri. Players have travelled over and over between White Orchard, Velen, Novigrad, Skellige Isles, Kaer Morhen and Toussaint. Geralt of Rivia, a witcher around 99 years old, has served as our defender and traveller among these dangerous lands plagued by monsters inspired by slavic folklore, complex civilizations with medieval like beliefs and cultures and deadly battles caused by the wars between the kingdoms.

This game has served and will serve as a technical and cultural reference for future games and media entertainment, it will be played many years into the future by newer generations and will remain in the memories of this generation for many years to come.
